Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in energy, environmental science, policy, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • No visa sponsorship (H-1B or TN) will be provided for this position
  • Background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc., may be required and drug testing may be conducted for designated positions
  • Security clearance requirements: candidates must be cleared (Secret or Top Secret) or able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance
Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes and ensure data is actionable and aligned with objectives
  • Track, compile, and present data on program outcomes in actionable formats for Department of Energy decision-makers
  • Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting and report development, data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, and energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services in support of the Department of Energy Office of Policy
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in energy policy and technical consulting
  • Educational background or experience in data reporting, evaluation support, and energy policy
  • Analytical thinking and proficiency in data analysis tools; strong communication abilities; subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools; leadership and interpersonal skills; time management and prioritization abilities; adaptability; ability to multi-task and attention to detail
