Requirements
  • Two to four years of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, logistics, sales, or a customer-facing role; carrier sales or brokerage experience is strongly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of North American lanes and market trends is required.
  • A strong phone presence and comfort making a high volume of outbound calls are required.
  • Experience using load boards such as DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms is required.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills are required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation systems is required.
Responsibilities
  • Source, onboard, and manage a network of carriers to support freight demand.
  • Use load boards such as DAT and Truckstop to match freight with available capacity.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to maximize margins.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with carrier partners.
  • Coordinate shipment execution and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate with carriers via phone, email, and system platforms such as electronic data interchange and transportation management systems.
  • Monitor market conditions, capacity trends, and lane pricing.
  • Provide high-quality service to internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the carrier network and improve efficiency.

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is an asset.

Charger Logistics to deploy Aurora's second-generation driverless trucks on Dallas-Laredo route

Aurora Innovation announced a customer agreement with Charger Logistics to deploy second-generation driverless trucks on the Dallas-Laredo route. Charger Logistics will use Aurora's autonomous driving technology to add capacity and improve utilization on one of its busiest freight corridors. Charger Logistics is an asset-based transportation and logistics company providing truckload, warehousing, and cross-border services across North America. The company handles temperature-controlled food, pharmaceuticals, automotive, retail, and consumer products. Aurora's Vice President of Business Development, Zac Andreoni, said the new driverless truck fleet helps meet demand following last year's launch. Charger Logistics President Andy Khera stated autonomous trucking will enhance capacity, improve asset utilization, and strengthen service reliability for mission-critical freight on US corridors.
