A partnership that moves public transit forward.

A partnership that moves public transit forward. By SWTA Admin Strong partnerships are at the core of every successful SWTA event, and the 2026 SWTA + New Mexico Joint Annual Conference & EXPO presented by Model 1 Commercial Vehicles was no exception. As the presenting sponsor, Model 1 Commercial Vehicles played a vital role in shaping this year's conference experience in Albuquerque. Their support helped create an environment where meaningful conversations could take place, new ideas could emerge, and lasting connections could be built across the public transit industry. Throughout the week, attendees engaged in discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities facing public transit today - from funding and workforce development to safety, operations, and innovation. The strength of these conversations was made possible, in part, by the foundation created through strong industry partnerships like the one shared between SWTA and Model 1. Model 1's continued investment in public transit reflects a deep commitment to the communities served by transit systems across the country. Their presence at the conference extended beyond sponsorship, reinforcing their role as an engaged partner dedicated to supporting agencies, fostering collaboration, and advancing solutions that strengthen mobility. As SWTA continues to bring together leaders from across the industry, partnerships like this remain essential. They help elevate the conference experience, strengthen connections across regions, and support the shared mission of moving public transit forward. SWTA is proud to partner with Model 1 Commercial Vehicles and looks forward to continued collaboration in the years ahead.
