- 10+ years in enterprise solution architecture, consulting, or senior engineering roles with a strong infrastructure technology stack focus including compute, storage, database, containers, serverless, and migrations.
- Experience architecting and implementing industry-leading technologies and solutions at an enterprise level.
- Strong business and technical consulting skills to manage client requirements and create complex multi-technology solutions across multiple architecture domains.
- Experience leading opportunities from presales through successful implementation, conclusion, and handoff to operational support or professional services delivery across multiple business units, service delivery practices, and technical disciplines.
- 5+ years of industry experience with multi-technology solutions through diverse business and technical consulting.
- 2+ years of experience designing solutions relating to Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365, and M365.
- In-depth knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure technologies such as Nutanix and VMware.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with different audiences in written, oral, and presentation formats.
- Proven presales capabilities and technological leadership experience.
- Ability to understand and capture complex business requirements to create technical solutions.
- Familiarity with IT architecture principles and industry frameworks, including approved architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Professional services consulting experience.
- Problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to define customer solutions and deliver innovative engagements that exceed business requirements.
- Continuously improve team processes and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Ensure technology designs and implementations solve clients' requirements and challenges.
- Design and implement standard or custom technical solutions.
- Develop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offerings, considering business and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security, and recovery.
- Create documentation including conceptual, logical, and physical designs, bills of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition-to-operations information.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and enhance deliverables.
- Provide presales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education.
- Meet with clients to determine needs and identify problem areas.
- Develop estimates, Statements of Work, and proposals outlining professional services required to meet client requirements.
- Represent the company at vendor and industry events.
- Share learnings and information with the broader team after events.
- Assist with hosting presentations and education sessions such as Lunch & Learns.
- Build long-term client relationships that further business value for both the client and the company.
- Analyze complex requirements and develop IT strategies and multi-technology solutions aligned with industry-accepted best practices.
- Stay current with architectural and industry changes, especially in cloud technologies.
- Microsoft technical certifications such as MCSA or MCSE.
- Technical certifications from Citrix, Nutanix, or VMware.
- ITIL certification.
