  • Experience leading and inspiring people in operational field and engineering roles
  • Demonstrable experience of leading engineers in a field based environment
  • Relevant industry experience in utilities, preferably in the energy/electrical/renewables/smart metering/low carbon space
  • Understanding of the electrical/metering industry

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire multiple engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Support Recruiters and Talent Team in bringing the best people into the business
  • Ensure necessary skills, support, mentoring, and equipment for the team
  • Design requirements and work with suppliers and experts to implement them
  • Design processes and ways of working for engineers to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Motivate the team to be part of the zero carbon journey, encouraging creativity and challenge
  • Coach the team to excel, grow, and develop
  • Support Operations Manager in delivering business strategy, building the team, and driving superb team performance and customer service
  • Support the Technical assurance team in delivering quality installations and accreditation requirements
  • Ensure customers have exceptional experiences and resolve issues effectively
