Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a Business Partner role
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company and within the Life Sciences industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal, California, other state and local legal regulations related to employment and HR policies
  • Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP), Microsoft Suite tools, benefits administration, and compensation tools
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and practices
  • Coach and consult line managers in all issues regarding people management, HR practices, policy, employment law, employment relations, change and performance management
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development and career goals
  • Lead and support management in organizational assessment, talent gap analysis, organization structure
  • Participate in talent calibration process with VP, HR and leadership
  • Lead all Learning & Development initiatives and strategy
  • Consult with key organizational stakeholders to identify and diagnose organizational problems and design and help implement innovative and sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence
  • Design and lead the DEI efforts and strategy at the company
  • Help drive adoption and consistency of HR programs with special emphasis on Diversity and Inclusions initiatives
  • Stay current on trends in the HR field to ensure solutions are progressive and relevant
  • Participate and collaborate with HR team in the continual development of HR programs
