About This Position

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to our Controller, this role will be providing support across our Finance functions.

Your Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• All accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations, cash forecasting and required reporting relating to revenue and billing 

• Primary finance contact for customer queries and Firstbase sales and Customer Service teams

• Manage accounts receivable

• Payroll (worldwide)

• Assist with tax reporting and technical accounting queries

• Finance projects including Netsuite implementation and ad hoc finance tasks as required

Role Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant or 5 + Years of relevant experience

• Experience of accounting for multiple business units in multiple countries and currencies

• US GAAP and US and Canada tax experience is desirable

• Excellent computer skills, and familiarity with accounting software stack (Preferable: Netsuite; Desirable: Tipalti, Bill.com, Expensify) and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to communicate financial matters to non-financial staff

• High energy, high motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively

• An ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

• An attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills
