Requirements
  • Work safely and efficiently in a tool and die shop environment, including following industrial safety best practices.
  • Be flexible to work both first and second shifts.
  • Have basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a desire to improve.
  • Be hands-on and willing to learn the tool and die trade.
Responsibilities
  • Operate computer numerical control and manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, and other tool shop equipment.
  • Generate three-dimensional computer-aided design models and blueprints for various projects.
  • Perform disassembly, final assembly, and outbound tooling inspections.
  • Inspect and precision-measure in-process tooling and components to meet print specifications.
  • Accurately plan and track time for specific work orders.
  • Train with all leads and tool and die makers on the shop floor.
