  • Knowledge of aircraft manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer-provided drawings, specifications, parts lists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems; use of an MRP system is required.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read portable measuring equipment.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to work safely on the manufacturing shop floor, including use of eye and hearing protection when necessary.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze drawings, manufacturing routers, bills of materials, parts lists, and other technical documents.
  • Analyze engineering and production data.
  • Use CATIA software for analysis, design, and drafting.
  • Review customer change notifications and update documentation or processes accordingly.
  • Propose feasible solutions for overall process improvements.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop manufacturing planning.
  • Establish Product Configuration Control Information.

  • Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems is ideal.
  • Effective and respectful communication across all departments and the manufacturing shop floor is essential.
