As Roadie’s Workforce Manager, you’ll lead workforce planning and real-time operations for our 24/7 Support organization. Working across Roadie and our BPO partners, you’ll ensure the right coverage across phone, chat, and email to deliver a great user experience.

You’ll develop our Real-Time Analysts and scheduling resources, anticipate demand, and guide teams through daily challenges and peak periods. If you enjoy solving complex operational puzzles, developing people, and seeing your decisions make an immediate impact, you’ll thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do

Lead and develop Roadie’s Real-Time Analysts and scheduling resources through clear priorities, coaching, and accountability
Own forecasting, staffing, and headcount planning across Support channels, internal teams, and BPO partners
Build schedules that align staffing with demand and maintain consistent queue coverage
Guide real-time operations by monitoring service levels, adherence, occupancy, utilization, backlog, and handle time, taking action as needs shift
Anticipate staffing and scheduling gaps, communicate their business impact, and recommend practical solutions
Partner with Support Managers, Vendor Managers, Salesforce, Engineering, and other technical teams to improve routing, workflows, automation, and self-service
Assess how proposed operational and technology changes will affect contact volume, staffing needs, queue performance, and the user experience
Develop workforce and contingency plans for peak season, high-volume periods, and unexpected staffing or system challenges
Serve as a workforce leadership resource for our 24/7 operation, including during outages and service disruptions, as business needs require
Lead postmortems after significant service-level misses or disruptions, turning findings into actionable improvements
Deliver reporting and analysis that helps leaders make informed decisions about staffing, headcount, and operational performance
Oversee WFM platform configuration and partner with technical teams to strengthen workforce tools, routing, and reporting accuracy

What You Bring

5+ years of contact-center workforce management experience across forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling, and real-time operations
Proven success developing workforce analysts or schedulers through coaching, clear expectations, and accountability
Experience supporting 24/7, multichannel operations and partnering with BPOs across sites or time zones
Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to anticipate risks, uncover root causes, and turn data into practical recommendations
Strong understanding of queue management and routing, including how process changes, automation, and AI deflection affect staffing and service levels
Clear communication, sound judgment under pressure, and strong ownership and follow-through
Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and working knowledge of Calabrio, Salesforce, Amazon Connect, or comparable platforms
Experience planning for peak demand and managing workforce responses to outages or service disruptions
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience building WFM processes from the ground up or supporting high-growth or gig-economy operations preferred

June 12, 2026 Omaha Steaks and UPS company Roadie first launched their partnership in May 2025, later expanding it in April 2026 to include same-day delivery. Previously, customers had a single shipping option, but the expanded offering now provides greater flexibility through same-day delivery. The offering reached all 44 store locations by May 2026. Roadie's nationwide delivery network, which includes more than 500,000 independent drivers, provides the flexible capacity needed to support same-day delivery at scale. With the expanded partnership, more than 140 million Americans can now have premium Omaha Steaks delivered the same day. The platform allows Omaha Steaks to extend delivery reach without additional fixed infrastructure while maintaining speed, visibility and reliability in the last mile of delivery. Roadie's delivery network follows cold-chain best practices designed to keep perishable items fresh, cold and protected throughout transit. Orders are matched with drivers and vehicles equipped to safely transport temperature-sensitive items, with real-time tracking that keeps customers informed at every step from pickup to doorstep. Omaha Steaks customers within a 30-mile radius can now receive eligible orders in as little as three hours when orders are placed by 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Roadie, a UPS company, has announced an integration with delivery management platform Centiro enabling retailers and third-party logistics providers to scale same-day delivery whilst maintaining warehouse efficiency. The integration was designed and deployed in weeks, allowing a major national retailer to launch ahead of the holiday season. The solution centres on Roadie's RoadieXD cross-dock system, which separates label printing from data transmission. Warehouse teams can print Roadie delivery labels alongside other carriers using existing workflows, whilst delivery data transmits to Roadie's platform in scheduled batches. This prevents system bottlenecks during peak periods. Roadie's network reaches 97% of US households across 30,000 postcodes through over 310,000 independent drivers. Bouqs picks Roadie for same-day flower delivery. Freelance-driver network offers speed, flexibility and white-glove service. Key takeaways: The Bouqs Co., a direct-to-consumer floral retailer, has engaged UPS (NYSE: UPS) subsidiary Roadie to make same-day deliveries in several major cities using gig drivers as holiday demand spikes and customers seek arrangements that need special handling. The online flower seller is forecasting a 44% increase in planned order volume in the fourth quarter from the prior period, but won't be able to easily fulfill late orders before holiday deadlines from its network of distribution centers. By partnering with Roadie, Bouqs can prepare and send orders the same day for customers in key markets like Los Angeles, the company said in a news release on Tuesday. Roadie is a crowdsourced delivery platform that connects shipments to a network of independent drivers that make deliveries with their personal vehicles. It picks up orders for customers such as Walmart, Tractor Supply, FilterBuy, Spirit Halloween, paint brand Benjamin Moore and Nothing Bundt Cakes, at local stores and warehouses for last-mile delivery to shoppers. Bouqs has expanded its online model to include physical retail locations in San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York, which are co-located in other stores, and flower counters inside some Whole Foods Market stores. It plans to set up storefronts in San Francisco and Chicago, according to its website. Same-day delivery is also currently available in San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas. In addition to addressing capacity constraints during peak periods and service gaps created by traditional delivery windows, Roadie enables Bouqs to offer premium products, like florist-arranged centerpieces and compote-style vases, that aren't suited for boxed, long-distance shipping. The partnership will continue past the holiday season, Roadie Chief Operating Officer Dennis Moon said in an email response. Bouqs also benefits from Roadie's 24/7 delivery capability, real-time tracking, photographic chain of custody and a same-day delivery radius of up to 100 miles, he added.
