- At least one year of inpatient hospital radiology technologist experience or two years of Nebraska Medicine Scheduling Associate experience with a radiology focus is required.

- At least three years of post-secondary education with coursework in business, a medical assistant program, or a nursing assistant program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or medical scheduling, is required.

- Complete complex scheduling of multiple appointments for one patient's appointments and/or campus services.
- Provide clerical support related to scheduling and coordinating organizational services and surgical procedures.
- Assist patients, staff, and physicians according to established scheduling standards and procedures.
- Coordinate clinic appointments, procedural services, and diagnostic services to support healthcare providers and unit operations.
- Facilitate internal and external referrals, ensuring that patients attend appointments and referring providers receive consult notes as appropriate.
- Uphold patient-care, mission, and patient-satisfaction expectations.
- Experience in a healthcare environment with working knowledge of scheduling or registration systems.
- Experience with computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with electronic health records, preferably Epic.

Nebraska Medicine and Memorial Hermann Health System have launched Helix Genomic Advantage, integrating clinical-grade genomic insights into care delivery for their workforces. The programme follows a similar launch with St. Luke's University Health Network. Both health systems are Helix Research Network partners operating large-scale community genomics studies. The Genomic Advantage model aims to implement precision medicine for targeted populations whilst reducing costs, addressing the high expense that has historically prevented scaling diagnostic genomics. "The high cost of diagnostic genomics has served as a significant barrier, preventing health systems from scaling these insights for patient populations," said James Lu, Helix CEO and co-founder. The programme aligns incentives to drive expanded access and total cost of care reduction across risk-based populations.
