Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • June 3, 2026 raised FY2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $150 million-$152 million.
  • Q3 2026 gross margin hit 38.8%, while NRS, Fintech, and net2phone boosted profits.
  • IDT held $251 million cash and bought back shares, funding growth without debt pressure.

What critics are saying

  • FCC and FTC robocall actions against IDT Telecom since 2025 threaten fines and carrier restrictions.
  • Traditional Communications still drives most revenue, so BOSS Revolution decline can cap growth through 2027.
  • OnCore Digital costs only about $4.8 million; if integration stalls, NRS ad monetization disappoints.

What makes IDT Corporation unique

  • NRS paired 39,000+ terminals with first-party transaction data and retail screens in 2026.
  • BOSS Money benefits from remittance-tax-driven digital migration across eight countries, raising transaction economics.
  • net2phone crossed 441,000 seats and monetizes AI-backed communications against Zoom and Microsoft.

IDT's BOSS Money hits record Mother's Day remittance volumes, raising questions on working capital

BOSS Money, IDT Corporation's international remittance service, reported record transaction volumes during Mother's Day 2026, with strong growth in both principal sent and transaction volumes across eight countries via its BOSS Money and BOSS Revolution apps. The surge in digital remittances underscores growing customer engagement with IDT's app-based money transfer offerings. However, the company's investment narrative remains centred on margin improvement and app adoption in BOSS Money, with main risks including working capital needs and competitive pressure.
