About the job
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience in facility management, building services engineering, or technical project management.
- Strong knowledge of building services engineering, including HVAC/plumbing and/or electrical systems.
- Experience leading projects with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and quality.
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Knowledge of energy management and an interest in sustainable energy-efficiency solutions.
- Native-level German and English proficiency at least at B2 level.
- Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach.
- Communication skills, initiative, and assertiveness.
- Coordinate technical matters as the primary contact for building services, working with internal departments and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and regulations concerning energy and building services.
- Provide technical guidance to and oversee external service providers, monitoring performance, quality, and satisfaction of internal stakeholders.
- Lead individual projects operationally from initiation through completion, defining objectives and milestones, planning resources and budgets, coordinating internal and external participants, managing risks, and documenting work.
- Obtain, review, and prepare quotations and create procurement documentation.
- Oversee schedules, costs, and quality for ongoing energy and building-services projects, including prioritization, interface management, and reporting to leadership.
- Approve orders and invoices in SAP workflows and Onventis.
- Develop and implement measures and strategies to sustainably reduce energy consumption at the site.
- Take technical responsibility for site energy efficiency and compliance with energy standards, and act as the contact for energy audits and reporting.
- Support the ESG team in developing and implementing environmental and energy-saving measures.
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements concerning energy and building services.
- Experience in procurement and contract management.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Onventis.
- Experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental management.
- Experience with energy-related audits and reporting.
