Mondelēz brings in biscoff-toblerone collaboration.

Mondelēz brings in biscoff-toblerone collaboration. Toblerone truffles featuring Lotus Biscoff are set to debut exclusively at Costco, as Mondelēz expands a collaboration that has already generated more than $300 million in annual revenue. Mondelēz International is taking its successful Biscoff collaboration for the first time, pairing Lotus Bakeries' iconic Biscoff cookies with its Swiss chocolate brand Toblerone in a new truffle format. The product, already available in the UK and several other markets, will initially be sold exclusively through Costco stores in the US. The launch gives Mondelēz an opportunity to bring together two brands that have been performing strongly while strengthening Toblerone's presence in the world's largest premium chocolate market. "We see a huge opportunity" for Biscoff and Toblerone in the US, Iain Livingston, president of Toblerone and world travel retail at Mondelēz, said in an interview. Toblerone has a particularly strong presence in travel retail, which accounts for around 25% of its sales. According to Mondelēz, it is the best-selling chocolate brand in the travel channel. Mondelēz launched its Biscoff chocolate platform in 2024 after entering into a partnership with Lotus Bakeries to develop products combining the caramelised biscuit with its chocolate brands. The collaboration initially produced Cadbury and Milka products featuring Biscoff pieces across Europe and the UK. The range has since expanded into markets including Australia and Canada. The partnership has become a significant growth platform for Mondelēz, generating more than $300 million in annual revenue. Company executives have previously indicated that the business could eventually reach $1 billion. Livingston said the performance of Biscoff products in existing markets had "surpassed even our expectations", with repeat purchase rates ranging between 30% and 40%. The company now sees further opportunities to extend the partnership across its portfolio and into new markets. In Brazil, Mondelēz plans to introduce Biscoff pieces into its Lacta chocolate brand early next year. Mondelēz is also exploring additional Biscoff combinations using some of its other major brands, including Oreo and Cadbury Eggs, as it looks to increase repeat purchases and expand the platform into new categories and markets. The Biscoff partnership comes as Mondelēz continues to invest in Toblerone. Last year, the company announced an investment of about $79 million in its manufacturing facility in Bern, Switzerland, where around 90% of Toblerone production currently takes place. Founded in Switzerland in 1908, Toblerone remains one of Mondelēz's most recognizable chocolate brands. The company is targeting the No. 1 position in global chocolate by 2030, with established brands such as Toblerone and newer cross-brand collaborations such as Biscoff forming part of its growth strategy.

Mondelēz International announces Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff(R), uniting two global icons in a premium chocolate experience. * Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff(R) combine smooth Toblerone milk chocolate, rich Biscoff(R) spread filling, and crunchy honey-almond nougat pieces in a distinctive diamond shape * Available in two formats: a 495g premium box exclusive to Costco across ten markets, and a 180g sharing box in select countries * Marks the first global retail partnership between Mondelēz International and Costco * Collaboration deepens Toblerone's premium positioning and reinforces Mondelēz International's strategy to lead in premium chocolate innovation CHICAGO, Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Mondelēz International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDLZ) today announced the global launch of Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff(R), a new collaboration that brings together two of the world's most iconic snacking brands. The partnership with Lotus Bakeries, the maker of Biscoff(R), marks a new chapter in Toblerone's premium chocolate evolution and its commitment to delivering innovative, indulgent experiences. As premium chocolate continues to outpace growth across the broader confectionery category, Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff(R) meet rising consumer demand for unexpected, elevated flavor combinations. It is a natural next step for a brand that has never been square. Each diamond-shaped truffle is individually crafted from smooth Toblerone milk chocolate, filled with rich Biscoff(R) spread, and finished with crunchy honey-almond nougat pieces. The result is the unmistakable caramelized taste and texture of Biscoff(R), elevated by Toblerone's signature chocolate craftsmanship. In 2024, Toblerone introduced its distinctive diamond-shaped truffles to the market, marking a bold step beyond the brand's legendary triangular bar. The launch proved a resounding category success, redefining what consumers expect from premium boxed chocolates. Now, the addition of Biscoff(R) takes this innovation further with a partnership set to captivate chocolate lovers worldwide. "Toblerone has always stood for being never square and celebrating unapologetic indulgence. With our diamond-shaped truffles already proving a category success, combining them with globally loved Biscoff(R) was a natural next step," said Iain Livingston, President, Toblerone & World Travel Retail, Mondelēz International. "People look for surprising combinations of familiar tastes, and this is a collaboration that only two icons could bring to life. We couldn't be more excited to share it with the world." The exclusive Costco partnership represents a landmark moment for Mondelēz International and its Toblerone brand, marking the first time the company has partnered with Costco to launch a product range on a global scale. It is a further testament to the strength of both the Toblerone brand and the universal appeal of Biscoff(R). "Biscoff(R)'s unique caramelised taste and crunchy texture have become a global phenomenon, loved across cultures and age groups," said Isabelle Maes, Chief Marketing Officer, Lotus Bakeries. "Partnering with Toblerone, a brand synonymous with quality and indulgence, allows us to bring our iconic Biscoff(R) biscuit and spread experience to consumers in an entirely new and exciting format." Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff(R) are available in two formats designed for gifting, sharing, or personal indulgence. They can be found in some Costco stores as of now, with more to follow as shelves are filled. * 495g premium box: An exclusive format launching with Costco across the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Sweden, Iceland, and New Zealand. * 180g sharing box: Available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, and Australia, with additional markets to follow. Oreo brings LTO Pistash-Yo to UAE.

Oreo brings LTO Pistash-Yo to UAE. Pistachios have reportedly long been part of the region's food culture. September 17, 2026 Oreo is putting its own twist on a pistachio flavor with the launch of limited-edition Oreo Pistash-Yo in the UAE, made with real pistachios. Pistachio has reportedly long been part of the region's food culture, from traditional sweets to contemporary desserts. The launch comes as consumer expectations around snacking continue to evolve, the brand says. Mondelēz International's 2026 State of Snacking report, developed in collaboration with Mintel and Black Swan Data, found that six in 10 consumers across key global markets snack at least once a day. Pistachio, meanwhile, is gaining momentum as a flavor trend globally, with its online popularity growing 72% over the past year. The trend is also making the leap from chocolate and confectionery into biscuits and other baked goods, with industry reports showing that bakery accounted for 15% of new food and beverage launches featuring pistachio between July 2025 and June 2026. To mark the UAE launch, Oreo projected Pistash-Yo onto the Burj Khalifa on September 12. The activation brought the brand's "Now or Never" message to life on one of Dubai's most recognisable landmarks. "Innovation at Oreo is about continuing to evolve with the tastes of our consumers while staying true to what they love about the brand," says Mohamed Yousry, senior director of marketing, Mondelēz International, Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan (MENAP). "We know our fans are always looking for new ways to enjoy Oreo, and Pistash-Yo gives us the opportunity to bring a flavor they already know and love into the Oreo experience, made with real pistachio for an authentic taste that makes this Oreo truly distinctive. It's this combination of familiarity, authenticity, and discovery that makes flavor innovation so exciting for us. We're bringing together the unmistakable Oreo experience with one of the region's most loved flavors, and we hope Pistash-Yo becomes a new favourite for our consumers."
