Requirements

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Geography, Geoscience, Geospatial Science, GIS, or Computer Science.
At least 5 years of experience.
Experience with the ArcGIS platform, Trimble GPS, Delorme Xmap, Google Earth, and drillingInfo.
Pipeline knowledge.
Programming and SQL query experience.

Responsibilities

Use the ArcGIS platform to analyze data and maintain customers with spatial database management.
Update the MC database to better support midstream reporting and update the database per customer request.
Keep abreast of GIS and related technological developments, information sources, current issues, and corrosion NACE Standards through continued education and professional growth.
Help other sub-PSLs, such as the upstream business development team, with well-location customers relative to warehouses and with big-data analytics of revenue and numbers of tanks served.
Provide field surveys as needed for customers' GIS data for their Pipeline Operation Data Module/Asset Management needs.
Create and develop proprietary software programs to help the Midstream team analyze pipeline segments and assess risk.
Automate workflows to analyze many miles of pipeline and perform topographic queries to locate potential corrosion areas.
Participate in proposals and account-management meetings with customers and potential customers with over $1 million in revenue.

Job Duties

Under broad direction, uses ArcGIS platform to analyze analytical data as well as maintaining customers with spatial database management.
Update mc database to be more midstream oriented in our reporting as well as updating database per customer request.

Qualifications

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Geography, Geoscience, Geospatial Science, GIS, or Computer Science and 5 years experience.

ArcGIS platform experience, Trimble GPS experience, Delorme Xmap, Google Earth, drillingInfo, pipeline knowledge, programming and sql query experience.
