Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Full-time hires gain profit-sharing eligibility the next quarter: quarterly payouts include a year-end true-up when annual goals are achieved.
  • Full-time leave starts at three weeks: Blanchard's paid time off sits alongside paid holidays.
  • Sponsored trainees have a direct route to work: ThinkBIG guarantees Blanchard employment after graduation.

What critics are saying

  • Retirement matching requires tenure: employees need one year of service and 1,000 hours before qualifying.
  • ThinkBIG admission is selective: July entry requires college acceptance and limited dealer sponsorship.
  • ThinkBIG classroom hours are unpaid: hourly wages apply only to work during dealership internships.

What makes Blanchard Machinery unique

  • Leadership stays in one family: fourth-generation executives include President Boyd Blanchard and Executive Vice President Joseph Rozier Blanchard.
  • Rebuilds extend the repair business: Cat Certified machine rebuilds include over 350 tests and replacement of over 7,000 parts.
  • Electrical work reaches beyond generators: Blanchard Energy tests protective relays and medium-voltage cables.
