Requirements
  • Able to hold a pose for gesture and for longer sustained exercises lasting 16–18 minutes.
  • Must communicate directly with the course instructor regarding the length and style of the pose, or costuming, when posing draped.
  • Most modeling is undraped; models should come prepared to class with a robe and appropriate footwear to cover up between undraped poses.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene while posing and collaborating with the course instructor on meeting the needs of each class.
  • Art Models with long hair should keep their hair off the neckline when posing.
  • Models must be prepared to contribute to a professional work environment that fosters knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills relevant to the field of art and design.
  • Finalists may be required to submit to a criminal background check; some positions may also require a motor vehicle report and/or a credit report.
  • Required attachments to the application include Cover Letter with headshot and Resume.
  • Work schedule is part-time not to exceed 29 hours per week/1000 hours per year; Seasonal employment on an as-needed basis.

  • Prepare to work in a professional environment supportive of art and design skills development.
