Job Description
This role is categorized as HYBRID. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
Operations Coordinator, Center of Learning– LMS Administration role serves as the primary contact for the Center of Learning’s (COL) current LMS. This role will work closely with agency partners along with GM IT on the administration, reporting, and technical support of daily activities, issue resolution, core processes, measurement and new LMS functionality implementation.
Additionally, this role will assist in the migration to a new LMS across various activities while garnering an understanding of the new platform’s functionality to manage the day-to-day activities of the new LMS once fully launched. To be successful, the LMS Administration Lead will need to maintain a strong, ongoing understanding of the LMS as well as a working knowledge of GM’s LMS goals and needs.
This position will assist in various non-LMS COL projects when necessary to support the COL’s underlying goals of the GM organization.
This position reports to the Business Operations Manager, Center of Learning who is responsible for global integration, strategy and execution for COL.
Role Responsibilities
- Primary contact for the COL LMS – responding to requests for additional support, concerns and escalations
- In collaboration with agency partners and GM IT and business partners; identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Close coordination with extended COL team and Help Desk to resolve questions or issues with the LMS quickly and efficiently
- Provide in-depth analytical and platform knowledge of the LMS to extended COL team
- Collect requests for LMS platform enhancements
- Understand and manage internal GM data feeds to/from the LMS in coordination with GM IT and the GM Excellence programs
- Assist in the migration to a new LMS
- Generate a strong understanding of the new LMS and become the primary contact once fully launched

- Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, or related areas
- 3-5 years experience in training, learning, operations or related areas (preferably with working in an LMS)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
