About the Company

Hiring Our Heroes

Nonprofit hiring program for veterans and military spouses

Hiring Our Heroes is a nationwide program run by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation that helps veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and caregivers find meaningful jobs. It does not sell a product but provides events, resources, and partnerships to connect job seekers with employers and opportunities. How it works: the program organizes job fairs, coaching, training, and mentorship, often in collaboration with employers and veterans’ organizations, and offers resume help and career resources to participants. What makes it different: it is backed by a national chamber foundation and focuses specifically on the military community, offering a coordinated set of employer partnerships, local chapters, and ongoing support to ease the hiring and transition process. What is the goal: to improve employment outcomes for veterans and their families by helping them enter or re-enter the workforce with meaningful, sustainable jobs.
