Job Overview

The Systems Engineering team is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and run vehicle and subsystem simulation models. This role is responsible for creating, developing and maintaining simulation models and running them as needed to guide vehicle development. The engineer will also document simulation results and share recommendations with the engineering team.

What you will do:

Develop and document vehicle and system simulation models
Perform simulations and analysis, document in reports and make recommendations to the engineering team and create requirements in the Harbinger requirement management system
Correlate models to physical testing by writing test plans, supporting testing and updating the models as needed
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure simulations represent the latest vehicle components
Use simulation to help root cause issues and develop solutions

Who you are:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant educational credential
5+ years of experience using simulations in the automotive field or similar
Experience with Matlab/Simulink for simulating complex systems
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to requirements and testing of automotive systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment

California Pay Range

$120,000—$160,000 USD
