  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent schools training or certifications is required.
  • A Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, is required.
  • At least 15 years of experience in operations and maintenance support services and/or facilities management is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience providing operations and maintenance or facilities management services to large facilities or operations is required.
  • Prior experience supervising a workforce responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems is required.
  • The role requires on-site presence during standard business hours and around-the-clock emergency reachability.
  • The role requires completion of all required training within established timelines.
  • The role requires safe, secure, and compliant performance of duties and adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • The role requires the ability to conduct preventive maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms.
  • The role requires walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in uncomfortable positions.
  • The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and set up tools, equipment, and parts weighing up to and occasionally over 50 pounds.
  • The role requires comfort working in dirty, dusty, and greasy indoor or outdoor environments with frequent exposure to excessive noise.
  • The role requires the ability to work under adverse weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
  • The role requires availability for alternate shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, when necessary to meet customer mission requirements.
  • The role requires scheduled on-call availability and the ability to report to work within one hour of notification.
  • A pre-employment drug screening and acceptable reference and background check results are required.

Responsibilities
  • Direct all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities at FASTC to ensure facility operations run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide daily oversight of maintenance teams, manage work order execution, and maintain communication with government stakeholders.
  • Lead and supervise a diverse team responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing commercial building systems.
  • Prepare and submit signed monthly progress reports to the Government.
  • Manage corrective maintenance efforts, preventive maintenance programs, and all unscheduled work orders.
  • Provide weekly written and verbal updates on the status of operations and maintenance activities.
  • Deliver a comprehensive monthly report covering corrective maintenance funding, preventive and unscheduled work completed, quality control metrics, safety incidents and training, equipment downtime, customer satisfaction data, and operational concerns or recommendations.
  • Support hands-on maintenance and repair tasks as needed, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, and basic electrical work.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work and customer service.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
