Requirements

The employee must be able to stand and walk for 100% of the shift.
The employee must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
The employee must be able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
The employee must be able to speak, read, and write English.
The employee must be able to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes.
The employee must complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with company and Florida statutory requirements.
The employee must complete and pass a food safety certification program in compliance with company and Florida statutory requirements.
The employee must be able to work flexible hours.
The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The employee follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
The employee supports fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and running food and drinks as needed.
The employee remains knowledgeable about food and beverage menus, items, promotions, and specials and answers guests’ questions verbally and clearly.
The employee accurately enters orders into the point-of-sale system.
The employee retrieves food and drink orders from the kitchen or bar area and delivers them to guests in a timely manner.
The employee collects guest payments by credit card, cash, or gift card, verifies transactions using the point-of-sale system, and calculates and delivers correct change.
The employee performs shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned side work.
The employee packs ToGo orders and verifies them with the guest.
The employee greets guests at the curbside pickup area.

Responsibilities

Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
Accurately enter orders into POS system
Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to speak, read and write English
Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
Ability to work flexible hours
Work in a fast paced environment
