MEDFAR acquires AlloMia to add AI voice agents to its MYLE medical records platform

MEDFAR, the Canadian company behind the electronic medical record (EMR) system MYLE, has acquired AlloMia, which develops AI voice agents that answer patient calls for clinics. It is MEDFAR's second AI acquisition in under two years. No price was disclosed. AlloMia's agent answers calls instantly, books appointments into the clinic's schedule, and directs callers to the right resource. It has been piloted with a group of MYLE clinics since March 2026. In the newest clinics, about 50% of calls are handled start to finish without a transfer to reception. The agent becomes MYLE's fourth AI feature, joining AI Scribe, AI Form-Filling, and AI Indexing. It is available to all MYLE clinics and works with the Plexia and Medgen EMRs. The AlloMia team has joined MEDFAR.
