SMT Energy secures $268M equity partnership with Climate Adaptive Infrastructure for US battery storage expansion

SMT Energy, a developer and operator of battery energy storage systems, has announced an equity partnership with Climate Adaptive Infrastructure (CAI) worth up to $268 million. This follows $32 million previously deployed by CAI into SMT assets. The investment will fund development, construction and operation of battery storage projects across the United States.
