Requirements
  • A medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric or Medicine/Pediatric residency program is required.
  • Fellowship training and board certification or board eligibility in Adolescent Medicine are required.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in Wisconsin is required.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to advancing the health and well-being of children and their families.
  • Collaborate with partners to care for, support, and empower youth.
  • Provide behavioral health services and specialized care for adolescent eating disorders in collaboration with Rogers Memorial Hospital.
  • Support youth in detention in collaboration with the Milwaukee County Youth Detention Center.
  • Provide community-based youth support and education through local public-school partnerships.
  • Support reproductive health services for detained youth in collaboration with the Health Department.
  • Assist with reproductive health initiatives in collaboration with the State of Wisconsin.
  • Partner with faculty in clinical practices at Children’s Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin to deliver care to children and families.
  • Provide inpatient consult services with an on-call component and maintain an ambulatory presence within the community.
  • Provide high-quality outpatient care at multiple clinical locations throughout Milwaukee.
  • Develop innovative programs to increase access to prevention services and medical care.
  • Address the physical and psychosocial needs of adolescents through clinical care.
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with eating disorders, hormonal regulation needs, reproductive health needs, and the unique needs of incarcerated adolescents and young adults.
  • Expand outreach into the community and enhance services to include substance abuse counseling and treatment.
  • Participate in scholarly activity as part of a 90% clinical and 10% scholarly appointment.
