Scope of Position
This creative and detail-oriented individual, as part of the Marketing Communications team, will support the development, production, editing, and distribution of video content that educates customers and promotes Watts' products and solutions. Working closely with the Sr. Multimedia Producer, the intern will gain hands-on experience across the full video production lifecycle, from concept development and filming through editing, publishing, and performance optimization. This position provides practical experience in video production, post-production, content strategy, social media distribution, and accessibility initiatives while supporting customer-focused content for YouTube and other digital channels.
This position reports to the Sr. Multimedia Producer. This role is hybrid and is based in N Andover, MA.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Support the planning, production, editing, and publishing of video content across YouTube, social media, and other digital channels.
Assist with on-site video production activities, including camera operation, lighting setup, audio recording, and production support within training and demonstration environments.
Edit video footage using Adobe Creative Suite applications to create clear, engaging, and on-brand content.
Help develop video content that answers customer questions and showcases Watts products, services, and solutions.
Participate in content planning, creative brainstorming, and video concept development sessions.
Coordinate content review and approval processes with internal stakeholders.
Support the execution of video content strategies designed to increase customer engagement and content reach.
Publish and help promote video content across social media and digital platforms.
Assist with accessibility initiatives by creating transcripts, captions, and subtitles for new and existing video content.
Maintain project documentation and create, update, and close work tickets related to video production activities.
Organize and manage video assets, project files, and production resources.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Manager of Content Marketing or Company management.

Required Qualifications
Current student (junior status)
Pursuing a degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Film, Multimedia, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to film and edit video content.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including video editing applications.
Strong creative problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple teams.
Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating content for YouTube and social media platforms.
Familiarity with video lighting, camera operation, and audio production techniques.
Experience with motion graphics, animation, or visual effects.
Knowledge of video accessibility standards, captioning, and transcription tools.
Portfolio showcasing video production and editing work.
Interest in digital storytelling, social media marketing, and content strategy.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will work in an office and production environment. Responsibilities may include time spent in training facilities and demonstration areas supporting video production activities.
Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods while editing video content.
Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.

Pay Range: $21-23 per hour
The expected hourly range for this position is$21- 23hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicablelaw.
