About the job
- A Licenciatura in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 14 years of experience in logistics operations, warehousing, and distribution are required.
- At least 4 years of experience leading operational teams in high-volume distribution centers or warehouses are required.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Knowledge of WMS and warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of Power BI or analysis tools is required.
- Knowledge of inventory management and internal controls is required.
- Knowledge of Lean Warehousing and continuous improvement is required.
- Manage receiving, storage, custody, and dispatch operations for raw materials, supplies, and finished products to ensure inventory availability and business continuity.
- Control the accuracy of physical and system inventories by executing cycle-count programs, reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure reliable information and minimize operational losses.
- Plan and coordinate national distribution and export dispatches of finished products to meet service levels agreed with internal and external customers.
- Manage the operating budget for storage, transportation, and distribution to use resources efficiently and meet established financial objectives.
- Coordinate transportation, storage, and logistics service providers to ensure required operational capacity and compliance with organizational service standards.
- Lead compliance with industrial safety, occupational health, quality, and environmental policies to minimize operational risks and meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
- A specialization or master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Administration is desirable.
