- Prior experience working with children as a sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader.
- A soccer playing background is preferred.
- Must be fun, energetic, patient, positive, and attentive.
- Must have a clean, valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and SafeSport requirements, and obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Must be flexible in scheduling.
- Must be willing to grow and learn.
- Must be able and willing to travel to class locations.
- Lead soccer lessons once a week in the morning at a local daycare or preschool.
- Lead children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all.
- Use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Use a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress-free.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
- Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children.
- Maintain class rosters.
- Interest in pursuing early childhood education or child development.
