  • Native-level or fluent German, essential for local and regulatory interaction.

  • Ability to collaborate in international teams, adapt to different methods, report to central teams in Spain, and strictly follow group guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead collection strategies for asset portfolios, including loans, credit cards, and mortgages.
  • Manage operational and strategic relationships with external collection agencies, monitor their performance, and ensure quality standards.
  • Define, monitor, and optimize operational and financial key performance indicators for the collections function.
  • Ensure compliance with local German regulations and internal risk-management policies.
  • Maintain continuous coordination with the risk function to optimize the customer lifecycle.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Business Committee, including analyses of portfolio development and strategy effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the BBVA Digital Bank Collections Manager in Italy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Postgraduate study or specialization in retail credit risk.
  • Experience in projects integrating collection tools and management models.
  • Spanish or Italian language skills.
