- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Certified in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Able to meet visual color acuity requirements when applicable to the role and specific unit.
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Provide care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification for the applicable unit.
