Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
  • Conducts analysis of energy consumption, production, and trends to support policy development.
  • Perform complex data analysis, create visualizations, and manage data repositories related to energy consumption, production, and trends.
  • Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting and report development.
  • Develop data tracking tools and engage in workforce policy analysis and convening; provide Energy Market Economic and Regulatory Analysis technical consulting services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Align with Energy Market Economic and Regulatory Analysis functional area initiatives and support for DOE Office of Policy.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies.

  • Experience and expertise in energy policy and technical consulting.
  • Domain expertise and technical proficiency in related fields (energy, policy, engineering, or environmental science).
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and visualization software; strong communication abilities.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools; leadership and interpersonal skills; strong time management and prioritization abilities; adaptability; attention to detail; ability to multi-task; strong analytical, organizational and written communication skills.
