Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales, operations, or partner management.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • Experience in building CXO level relationships with internal and external stakeholders, in various industries across retail, finance, travel and services.
  • Ability to work cross functionally within Marqeta and partner successfully to develop creative / innovative solutions for partners.
  • Thought leadership, as demonstrated by industry expertise in Payments, Retail, Fintech and Banking, with an ability to influence in complex situations.
  • Successful track record building vertical GTM strategies to exceed annual and quarterly revenue targets.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new and manage existing Card Issuing, Processing and banking solutions for Fortune 500 customers in the Mid-Market Sales Vertical ($250M - $10B in Revenue).
  • Cultivate relationships with CXO level executives at prospects and internal partners inside the company to build a “pipeline” and drive revenue growth.
  • Help your teams deliver quarterly sales plans, goals and joint business plans with key prospects and partners.
  • Coach, manage, and grow a number of sales team leaders that manage client service personnel, analysts and sellers.
  • Build a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and high-performing sales organization by influencing team structure, GTM strategy, culture, and processes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with key partner teams, including Sales Engineering, Delivery, GNSO, Revenue Operations, Banking Partnerships and other teams in Mid-Market Sales in the US.
  • Operate as an integral part of the US senior leadership team to deliver V2MoMs, GTM strategies and consistent sales processes.
