PubMatic provides a platform that helps website and app publishers maximize their revenue by selling digital ad space through a Supply-Side Platform. The technology works by hosting real-time auctions where advertisers bid to show ads to specific users the moment a page loads, with the highest bidder winning the spot. Unlike some competitors, PubMatic offers a specialized suite of identity and analytics tools across various formats like video and connected TV to ensure ads reach the most relevant audiences. The company's goal is to create a transparent infrastructure that connects publishers and advertisers efficiently to increase the value of digital content.

Digital advertising technology company PubMatic reported better-than-expected revenue in Q2 CY2026, with sales up 10.5% year on year to $78.59 million. The company's revenue beat analyst estimates of $69.15 million by 13.7%. PubMatic's non-GAAP profit of $0.12 per share significantly exceeded analyst consensus estimates of -$0.01. The company's adjusted EBITDA reached $19.62 million with a 25% margin, well above analyst expectations of $9.06 million. The company provided strong guidance for Q3 CY2026, with revenue projected at $76 million at the midpoint, 7.3% above analyst expectations of $70.84 million. EBITDA guidance for the quarter was set at $18 million, surpassing estimates of $10.89 million. Following the announcement, PubMatic's stock jumped 20.8%.
PubMatic has launched a governance framework for autonomous advertising on its AgenticOS platform. The architecture provides advertisers with configurable controls over how AI agents execute campaigns whilst maintaining auditability. The framework operates through five steps: defining boundaries through platform and buyer-configured guardrails, setting business rules before campaign initiation, using pre-approved asset libraries, requiring authenticated human approval for decisions exceeding configured authority, and maintaining comprehensive audit trails with drift detection. Rise, a Quad agency, is piloting the framework. According to the company, advertisers running active AgenticOS campaigns are seeing up to 50% improvement in total fee efficiency and up to 87% faster campaign setup times. Since launching in January 2026, AgenticOS has executed over 80 autonomous campaigns globally across 100,000-plus websites and apps, with 4,000-plus direct deals completed.

ThinkResult & PubMatic's AgenticOS deliver 90% faster campaign setup in India. PubMatic, the leading AI-powered ad tech company delivering digital advertising performance, announced that its AgenticOS platform has delivered the first end-to-end agentic CTV campaign in India in partnership with ThinkResult, a data-led digital media and ad tech company, marking the first agentic media buying deployment across APAC. For a leading global technology brand, ThinkResult deployed the campaign through AgenticOS. Setup, quality assurance (QA), and activation: 30 minutes. An up to 90% reduction from legacy platforms. Against a fixed budget across India's premium CTV publishers, the campaign delivered 17% more impressions than a fixed-bid approach, with video completion rates improving consistently week-on-week throughout the flight. The campaign reached over one million households on premium CTV devices at a lower effective CPM than planned. "We used to spend 3-4 hours coordinating setup across vendor integrations and QA. With AgenticOS, that's now 30 minutes. That time back is what lets our team focus on audience strategy and campaign optimisation." Jignesh Shah, co-founder, ThinkResult. This pattern is consistent globally. Early campaigns across France, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United States have delivered similar results: setup-time reduction of 80-90%, higher working media, lower effective CPM, and cleaner execution. Every advertiser that has activated an agentic campaign has returned to run additional campaigns. India's deployment validates that agentic media buying works at scale across geographies and markets. Throughout the campaign flight, AgenticOS's native reporting and insights agents provided real-time visibility into delivery, audience engagement, and working media performance, eliminating the manual reporting work that typically consumes trader time after campaign conclusion. The operational efficiency matters because India's CTV market is growing at 20-22% annually, according to WPP's This Year, Next Year (TYNY) 2026 report, driven by rising smart TV adoption and a strategic shift toward premium video environments. Media planners spend significant time on manual setup, coordination across multiple vendors, and troubleshooting - work that pulls them away from strategy and optimisation. AgenticOS removes that friction. "The way campaigns are configured today still requires hours of manual steps and coordination across intermediaries," said Amit Yadav, VP, south Asia and mid-market, PubMatic. "AgenticOS removes that friction entirely." PubMatic. PubMatic is the leading AI-powered ad tech company delivering digital advertising performance. Through an intelligent, unified platform that connects buyers, publishers, data partners, and commerce media, PubMatic delivers smarter advertising an... Powered by PressBox
