  • An Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent specialized training or certifications in operations and maintenance support services and/or facilities management.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance, or a DoD Secret or higher security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • At least 15 years of experience in operations and maintenance support services and/or facilities management.
  • At least 5 years of experience providing operations management services to large facilities or complex operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of facilities management principles, operations and maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Experience managing large-scale facility operations, with strong strategic planning and operational execution abilities.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with government clients, senior management, and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • A comprehensive understanding of contract management, including Contractor Furnished Services requirements, compliance obligations, and performance metrics.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with facility management systems, computerized maintenance management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • U.S. citizenship and proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • The ability to pass a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, and reference checks.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage all operations and maintenance support services for a large, complex government facility.
  • Commit and allocate the contractor labor force, resources, tools, materials, parts, and equipment to meet contract requirements and service level agreements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient facility operations.
  • Oversee custodial services, maintenance, logistics, supply management, and support services.
  • Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications, government regulations, safety standards, and quality control requirements.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and operational assessments to identify improvement opportunities and ensure contract compliance.
  • Develop and maintain staffing plans to meet operational demands and contract obligations.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and manage crisis situations affecting facility operations.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics, and status updates to senior management and government clients.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service delivery.
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
