Requirements
- Demonstrates the ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions in the resident’s best interest.
- Can communicate verbally, in writing, and through pictures when necessary.
- Can operate standard office equipment.
- Can use technology effectively and efficiently, including computers, iPad/tablet, Word, internet access, email, social media, and Resident Experience software platforms.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record under the company’s Motor Vehicle Policy because the position includes driving responsibilities.
- Can think creatively and independently to meet objectives.
- Can innovate to create and generate solutions and programs.
- Can solve problems while exercising judgment and a realistic understanding of issues, and use reason when dealing with emotional topics.

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening in accordance with Florida law and company policy; certain positions may require fingerprinting and Level 1 or Level 2 background screening.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate socials, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, outdoor time, and other activities according to the monthly/daily schedule.
- Work with the Resident Experience team to develop new ideas and encourage suggestions for the monthly planned programs.
- Assist in creating and adjusting the Resident Experience plan for each resident.
- Ensure each resident receives a copy of the monthly activity calendar.
- Invite, engage, and encourage residents to participate to the extent they are comfortable.
- Assist residents in getting to and from activities.
- Use Lifeloop to document attendance at planned activities and one-to-one interactions.
- Identify and report personal, emotional, cognitive, and environmental concerns that prevent or limit residents’ participation to the Resident Experience Director.
- May drive the company van or vehicle for community needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience organizing activities or event planning is preferred.
- One to two years of experience working with seniors is preferred.
