Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years experience in sales as an account manager with blue chip CPG and/or housewares products in a high growth environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing new and existing retail accounts
  • Experience working with retailers in grocery, club, drug, sporting goods, and other priority channels
  • Experience with trade spend management, retailer systems, and new vendor set up
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many cross functional departments
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, responsive, and able to consistently solve problems that arise in a level-headed manner
  • Customer first attitude to handle all requests in a timely manner
  • Deep understanding of key trends in retail and the beverage/consumer products industry
  • Can do attitude with no reservations doing what it takes to get the job done
  • History of managing multiple accounts in different classes of trade at the same time
Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy and execution to grow and maximize existing accounts
  • Prioritize and win future accounts, then lead efficient customer onboarding processes
  • Build creative strategies to engage new retail partners to exceed sales and profit goals
  • Propose recommendations to senior management team, present to retailers, and quickly action ideas into reality
  • Work closely with Retail Ops team to ensure shipments get out on time and in full
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with all retail partners by listening to, understanding, and delivering on their needs
