- A high school diploma or equivalent education, such as a General Educational Development credential, post-secondary education, or one year of work experience.
- Deliver clean linen carts to the floor.
- Pick up dirty linen.
- Ensure that inventory levels are sufficient.
- Maintain all linen records for reporting and accountability.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes across all shifts.
- Basic knowledge of computer use and the ability to learn appropriate software applications.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a computerized inventory system.
- Ability to use a hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory.
- Ability to react calmly under stressful conditions.
- Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and coworkers to resolve complex problems.
- Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve customer service issues, order discrepancies, and other issues arising in the performance of duties.
