Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of demonstrated professional filmmaking, and video production experience
  • A proven track record of delivering video content on time and on budget
  • Technical understanding of key aspects of video production including a variety of cinema camera gear, lighting, framing, and sound
  • Experience with directing folks on camera
  • A deep knowledge of Adobe Premiere and excellent editing chops
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects is not required, but a plus
  • A love for the medium. From personal to professional videos, your work should be an indicator that you have a passion for video.
Responsibilities
  • Produce awesome videos. From pre-production all the way through post-production, you'll be responsible for guiding Wistia videos from script to a final product. That means you’ll manage production schedules, help cast videos, wrangle props, light sets, run camera and sound, help direct talent, and edit your video projects.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business. You'll be responsible for understanding our business goals and working cross-functionally to achieve them from a video perspective. You’ll participate in creative briefings and provide status updates on various media assets to ensure your video projects are on track and on message.
  • Deliver creative, on-brand assets. Work with the Content & Creative team to maintain the quality—and push the boundaries—of the Wistia brand with video across all of our content channels.
