Requirements
  • A Master's Degree is required.
  • Five years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Healthcare, Business, or the area of focus being recruited is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software, are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized expertise within the assigned compliance focus.
  • Collaborate with leadership, staff, other compliance officers, and auditors to proactively consult and educate on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Partner with responsible parties to develop corrective action plans when compliance gaps are identified.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in real estate compliance.
  • Experience interpreting healthcare rules and regulations.
  • Experience in lease and contract auditing.
  • Experience with physician arrangements.
  • Certification in healthcare compliance, privacy, audit, or the assigned area of focus.
  • Knowledge of Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with legal counsel, real estate professionals, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to interpret legal and contractual language and communicate risks effectively to leadership.

410 Medical raises $12M to scale emergency care device LifeFlow

410 Medical has secured $12 million in financing to expand its commercial operations and develop its next-generation LifeFlow infuser. Orlando Health Ventures led the oversubscribed round, with participation from Hatteras Venture Partners, Ballad Health, OSF Healthcare, Rex Health Ventures, and several other healthcare investors. The Durham, North Carolina-based medical device company's LifeFlow products are currently used by more than 500 hospitals and EMS agencies across the US to deliver fluids and blood quickly to patients experiencing sepsis, hemorrhagic shock, and other life-threatening conditions. Nearly 80,000 patients have been treated using LifeFlow technology. The funding will support commercial expansion and the launch of an enhanced LifeFlow infuser, planned for 2027. Founded in 2013, 410 Medical received FDA clearance for LifeFlow in 2016.
