Requirements
  • At least 2 years of full-time software engineering experience building and supporting user-facing features in large-scale web applications using TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with server-side web development using Node.js, Go, or a similar language, or a clear interest in learning server-side development.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ship features.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute directly to the mission of reaching more than 15 million paid subscriptions by 2027.
  • Build the conversion funnel for customers across platforms and services.
  • Improve payment workflows for digital and print subscriptions.
  • Work with design, data, marketing, and other collaborators to achieve a measurable business impact.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and A/B test brainstorming.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for the systems developed and supported.
  • Partner with Project, Product, Design, and Engineering Management to build and release projects.
  • Develop, test, and operate features end-to-end from ideation through production.
  • Engineer features across desktop and mobile that communicate subscription benefits throughout the user experience.

  • Prior experience working on consumer-facing or subscription products.
  • Prior experience working on sales or growth programs, such as revenue-focused features, funnels, or acquisition and retention projects.
