Requirements
  • Minimum two years clinical interface engineering experience and two years with a healthcare client or a healthcare related environment.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze, coordinate, develop, test, and maintain clinical and operational systems exchanging data via HL7, DICOM, and other interface protocols.
  • Support proprietary and industry standard interfaces between clinical equipment, servers, software and outside entities.
  • Provide support for electronic medical records system interfaces including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Provide education to staff embers regarding process changes and work-flow modifications related to interface installations and upgrades.
  • Provide electronic medical records system training to individuals and/or groups in formal or informal settings.
  • Communicate changes or new initiatives and key issues to supervisors, physicians, and staff.
  • Assume special projects as directed and document them appropriately.
  • Attend meetings and seminars as directed.
  • Provide after hours on-call and help desk coverage in accordance with department rotation.
  • Provide support for all clinical and business applications as well as network, server and user hardware.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Information Technology or the Development Manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • Complex project management experience desired.
  • CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Mirth certification desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with staff at various levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Impeccable time management.
