Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in client servicing from a broker or company background.
  • Strong technical knowledge of complex multinational programs, including reinsurance structures, with experience in the multinational environment and its processes.
  • Experience working with multinational corporations and dealing with senior client personnel or risk managers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of multinational service delivery for the assigned portfolio and be accountable for the multinational client experience.
  • Proactively manage and oversee multinational service activities, coordinating communication and project management across all internal and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provide direction and guidance to relevant stakeholders across the Multinational Business Model and AIG Network to ensure appropriate design and effective delivery and service of assigned multinational programs.
  • Provide multinational technical expertise to underwriters to ensure compliant program structure and design and adherence to local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead promotion and adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End process so that all parties understand and commit to roles, responsibilities, and expected timelines.
  • Ensure multinational service-fee discipline by using available tools.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day service delivery to ensure timely issuance of accurate local policy and invoice documentation and compliance with agreed program service-level agreements.
  • Partner with Product Underwriters to manage approval of facultative reinsurance panel participants and collection of compliant reinsurance documentation for assigned programs.
  • Engage with multinational claims to ensure timely development of multinational claims bulletins and protocols and support ad hoc program inquiries.
  • Partner with underwriting to draft legal documentation for loss-sensitive programs and obtain approval from AIG legal counsel.
  • Monitor performance and escalate when necessary to ensure all agreed multinational service-level agreements are met.
  • Operate as the senior external service contact, working with Product Underwriters and Distribution, and provide regular program-performance updates to the appointed broker or direct client until full implementation.
  • Manage and partner with Distribution to coordinate periodic multinational client and program stewardship meetings with underwriting and distribution.
  • Provide multinational subject-matter expertise and act as an escalation point for colleagues on multinational program design, territorial information, and multinational problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the development, qualification, prospecting, and conversion of multinational targets within the assigned span of control.
  • Support profitable growth of the multinational portfolio by collaborating with product and distribution.
  • Help identify, support, and contribute to internal and external strategies that align product offerings and grow the AIG multinational business.
  • Deliver structured internal and external multinational training as applicable.

AIG closes $1.3B dual-tranche euro senior note offering with 2031 and 2036 maturities

American International Group has completed a €1.125 billion euro-denominated senior note offering in two tranches. The company issued €625 million in 4.250% notes due 2031 and €500 million in 4.750% notes due 2036, both closing on 24 September 2026. The underwriting agreement, executed on 15 September, included Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, J.P. Morgan Securities, BNP Paribas, and Citigroup Global Markets as lead underwriters. The Bank of New York Mellon serves as trustee for both tranches. Sullivan & Cromwell provided a legal opinion confirming the validity of the notes. AIG filed the details with the SEC in a Form 8-K on 24 September.

Big Short' investor Steve Eisman backs AIG as analyst calls insurer 'really, really cheap

Steve Eisman, the investor known from "The Big Short", has disclosed that he owns shares in American International Group.
