Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or inventory analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in forecasting tools, days inventory outstanding and inventory metrics, and enterprise resource planning systems such as Chempax or similar.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to translate analysis into action across Sales, Product Management, and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Generate and review replenishment IDs in Overdrive and use forecasting tools to guide purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on days inventory outstanding for assigned suppliers.
  • Flag slow-moving, short-dated, expired, and obsolete stock early, and communicate risk to Product Managers.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Managers to incorporate demand signals into forecasts.
  • Review and clean up Overdrive data regularly to ensure forecasting accuracy.
  • Support monthly Product Manager–Inventory Manager planning meetings with Power BI and Overdrive analysis of stocking strategy, overrides, slow movers, overstock, and lead times.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including estimated time of arrival performance and days inventory outstanding.
  • Enter, review, and maintain Purchase Orders in Chempax, using Overdrive as the primary system of record.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and cost information and flag discrepancies to Product Managers.
  • Follow up on credit-hold and profit-hold issues and ensure timely Supplier Order Acknowledgements.
  • Coordinate with carriers and customs brokers for cost-effective, on-time delivery and customs clearance.
  • Process Inventory Receipts, Certificates of Analysis, and pre-receiving documentation, including accurate manufacture and expiry dates, in the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Monitor open purchase order and open order reports; maintain accurate estimated arrival times and ship dates.
  • Respond to customer service representative inquiries within 24 hours and maintain accurate delivery dates on all open orders.
  • Handle after-sales service including return merchandise authorizations, non-conformities, and credit/debit memo resolution.
  • Act as the customer's champion across departments.

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is an asset.
