Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geology, or an environmental sciences-related field from an accredited university.
  • Seven to ten years of professional experience in environmental assessment, investigations, environmental consulting, and remediation.
  • Three or more years of project management experience on environmental consulting projects.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and the ability to interface with regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, negotiate, and lead regulatory and closure strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams handling projects of advanced technical scope and complexity.
  • Ability to manage teams, scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental consulting projects by providing technical and project management expertise and ensuring assignments align with client needs.
  • Use knowledge and project experience from differing clients and regulatory frameworks to align project scopes and deliver value.
  • Manage integrated project teams by communicating expectations for client requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage environmental projects involving concurrent assignments, diverse scopes, multidisciplinary teams, and subcontractors.
  • Apply working knowledge of regulations and professional standards to diverse projects.
  • Communicate openly with internal resources and client representatives.
  • Manage and communicate project changes with clients and project teams.
  • Provide team leadership, safety and quality oversight, and project management in accordance with company practices.
  • Assist with proposal management, including cost estimating and project profitability.
  • Identify project issues proactively and develop corrective-action options.
  • Submit client deliverables, technical reports, invoices, and payments accurately and on time.
  • Comply with Weston operating protocols, business ethics, purchasing, and subcontracting requirements.
