- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- An active and appropriate Medical Assistant or nursing certification or licensure is required.
- Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and nursing practices is required.
- The ability to travel to satellite locations as needed is required.
- Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family member.
- Support providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Room patients, take and document vital signs, and update charts in the electronic medical record.
- Administer medications and injections according to provider orders and follow documentation and safety protocols.
- Keep patient records up to date, including medications, allergies, and medical history.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient needs, and route messages appropriately.
- Help keep clinic operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
- The ability to work well in a team-oriented, high-energy environment.
