WHAT IS AIS?

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Anduril AIS Network Engineer presents an exciting opportunity to operate in one of the most unique and challenging environments in the industry. Put your conventional engineering methodology aside and design creative solutions to complex problems in support of critical mission operations. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as in a small team to quickly move through the engineering design process to identify and field technical solutions within months not years. Using your engineering background with fresh ideas, you will be challenged to quickly integrate into the environment and make an immediate impact that is greatly rewarding.

* Manage and maintain daily operational systems, with the intent to optimize and automate, resulting in a reduction of manual integration
* Operate in a high-risk/high-reward DevOps environment to successfully maintain secure global communications
* Identify new methods of system and service acquisition using alternative payment structures
* Integrate disparate systems and technologies into a unified framework while maintaining security posture
* Leverage cloud service providers and internet infrastructure entities to securely move and process data from across the globe
* Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve real-time network traffic issues to maintain security and connectivity
* Design and implement a global dynamic network architecture capable of meeting the mission needs of an ever-changing security environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Strong network engineering background
* Network port/protocol/traffic analysis
* Network interface routing, firewall configuration
* Advanced Operating System Understanding
* Automation and scripting languages
* Wireless/Bluetooth analysis
* VPN design and implementation
* Cloud/VPS acquisition, maintenance and design
* IaaC design and operation
* Digital voice communications setup and operation
* Must be a U.S. Person because of required access to U.S. export controlled information
*Must have an active United States Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
*Must work five days in the customer location in Northern Virginia

US Salary Range

$136,000—$275,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
