Requirements
  • 6+ years of commercial software development experience in C#
  • 4+ years of SQL experience (BigQuery or Postgres preferred), including deep knowledge of database design and query optimization
  • Good understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and deploying applications at scale
  • Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design and microservices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and team growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable, resilient APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and modern microservices best practices to guide design decisions and code quality
  • Work heavily within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) utilizing services including BigQuery, CloudSql (Postgres), Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Apigee
  • Optimize SQL queries and data processing patterns
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance
  • Mentor and support team members by sharing technical expertise, providing guidance, and fostering skill development
  • Drive engineering excellence by championing code reviews, maintaining coding standards, and implementing best practices
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where they add value
