Requirements
  • Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility.
  • A favorably adjudicated polygraph.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or an advanced information assurance certification.
  • A Department of Defense 8570 certification in Information Assurance Technical or Information Assurance Manager.
  • Experience in security systems engineering involving various computer hardware, software operating systems, and application solutions in stand-alone and local area network/wide area network configurations.
  • Experience with security features and vulnerabilities of various operating systems as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides, and U.S. Cyber Command.
  • Experience with network and systems security administration, operating system security configuration, and account management best practices.
  • Experience implementing the Risk Management Framework process and National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-53 technical controls, and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to the customer.
  • Lead the identification of project security requirements.
  • Participate in network design reviews and security testing for the customer's networks.
  • Coordinate with system development teams to ensure network security standards are followed and implemented correctly.
  • Identify additional security requirements based on the Risk Management Framework or security issues that put the customer's systems at risk.
  • Review and analyze new hardware and software systems and provide recommendations concerning system security.
  • Review Security Requirements Traceability Matrices, System Security Plans, and other information assurance documentation for completeness.
  • Provide authorization and accreditation and Risk Management Framework guidance to system owners to ensure accreditation success.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience briefing senior customer personnel.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with the customer's Lifecycle Readiness process.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
  • Familiarity with the customer's information assurance processes.
  • Experience with information assurance vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools, including Retina, Host-Based Security System, Enterprise Vulnerability Scanning Service, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution.
  • Experience with Splunk and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Cross Domain Systems.
  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense in the cybersecurity domain.
