Rehlko expands Power Plus remote monitoring to boost aftermarket revenue and customer engagement

Rehlko has expanded its Power Plus connected-services platform for remote monitoring of backup power systems. The cloud-based solution monitors generators and automatic transfer switches, providing real-time alerts, diagnostics, and reporting to help customers reduce downtime and manage critical power assets proactively. The platform integrates with Rehlko's Performance Care 360 service agreements, enabling continuous monitoring between scheduled maintenance visits. Unlike traditional generator monitoring systems, Power Plus offers centralised visibility across generators, transfer switches, and third-party equipment through a single platform. The expansion supports Rehlko's strategy to grow its aftermarket business and deepen customer engagement across the asset lifecycle. Power Plus is currently available in North America, with additional regional rollouts planned. Rehlko provides custom-engineered power solutions for mission-critical infrastructure globally, with over 14 gigawatts of deployed capacity.

MILWAUKEE - Rehlko, a global energy resilience leader delivering innovative solutions across industrial energy systems, powertrain technologies, and home energy applications, recently announced the strategic expansion of its Power Control & Distribution manufacturing facility in Cholet, France. The milestone, recognized during a visit by President and CEO Brian Melka, will significantly enhance Rehlko's ability to meet surging demand across data center expansion, electrification, and energy resilience. The Cholet facility expansion increases the site's physical manufacturing space by 56% and is expected to reduce lead times by 30% upon completion in November. The project will create more than 100 new, local jobs and represents a €12 million, five-year investment in Rehlko's European manufacturing footprint. "This expansion reflects the trust our customers place in us and the confidence we have in our team's ability to deliver with speed and at scale," said Brian Melka, President and CEO of Rehlko. "Our continued investment in Cholet is demonstrative of Rehlko's commitment to building the operational capacity to meet the world's growing demand for reliable, resilient power today and for decades to come." The Cholet facility expansion positions Rehlko to capture long-term growth across Europe tied to artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and grid resilience. As hyperscale data centers and AI-driven workloads create demands on mission-critical power infrastructure, Rehlko's Power Control & Distribution business occupies a distinct position in that it goes beyond traditional backup power, actively managing and optimizing electrical flow under all conditions, not just outages. Power Control & Distribution's systems are engineered to control and distribute power from the grid under normal operating conditions and execute a seamless, uninterrupted transition to an alternate source the moment grid supply is compromised. This continuous, always-on energy management capability integrates directly into Rehlko's broader data center solutions architecture. Their solutions, such as low voltage main switchboards, generator switchboards and control systems can be housed in electrical and generator e-POD platforms. Along with Rehlko's KD Series(TM) gensets, this offers data center developers a single, fully integrated power infrastructure package. The Cholet expansion directly increases Rehlko's capacity to supply end-to-end solutions and introduces a full suite of advanced manufacturing and clean energy management technologies including automated production lines, connected wiring systems, intelligent assembly tools, advanced engineering software integration and energy storage capabilities, all designed to maximize production efficiency, improve quality and accelerate project delivery. The Rehlko 2026 Powering Impact Report showcases sustainable power progress for data centers.

The Rehlko 2026 Powering Impact Report showcases sustainable power progress for data centers. Rehlko has taken a big step forward in addressing the balance needed between providing adequate data center capacity and doing so sustainably with its newly released 2026 Powering Impact Report. The global energy resilience leader published its second report, detailing how they've embedded sustainability into resilient power solutions for data centers. To meet the needs data centers have for reliable and resilient power amid grid constraints, the company aims to position sustainability as a practical enabler that can inform how power systems are specified, designed, and optimized over time based on a variety of factors including location, fuel availability, regulatory conditions, and customer priorities. How has Rehlko increased sustainability for data centers? The report highlights how Rehlko's portfolio supports data centers under tight timelines with the ability to support the modular integration of technologies, such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), combined cooling, heat, and power (CCHP), advanced controls, and compatibility with alternative fuels, where appropriate. The report outlines how Rehlko leads by example, improving efficiency of its own operations. Highlights include: * A 19.6% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to a 2023 baseline, based on defined methodologies * 81.2% of operational waste diverted from landfills Additional Rehlko tools. Rehlko also recently launched the Rehlko Power Impact Intelligence strategic platform, which includes the Rehlko Backup Power | EPD Carbon Calculator. The tool provides access to verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) data, enabling customers to evaluate the embodied carbon of backup power systems at a product level. It helps customers make informed infrastructure choices, including those that may reduce carbon emissions. "Data center customers are navigating a more complex set of power decisions than ever before. Our role is to help deliver systems that are reliable when and where they're needed, while working to improve the quality of information customers use to evaluate energy choices. The Powering Impact Report reflects how we're integrating sustainability insight directly into engineering, tools, and execution." - Brian Melka, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rehlko.
