About the job
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Available to start at the end of March or beginning of April.
- Must have reliable transportation because classes are held at different locations within the territory.
- Must have a clean, valid driver's license.
- Must pass both state and Federal Bureau of Investigation background checks, including DUI/DWI screening.
- Must offer a 12-month commitment with the company.
- Must maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be enthusiastic about working with children.
- Must understand responsibilities while in charge of children.
- Must build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children.
- Must be able to maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout every class.
- Must have a passion for sports or fitness.
- Must attach a cover letter detailing why they would be a good fit for Soccer Stars of Kansas City.
- Lead children in fun and educational soccer activities while ensuring safety for all.
- Teach classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner; training is provided.
- Use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Use a non-competitive approach to maintain a fun, stress-free class environment.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
- Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
- Maintain class rosters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children.
- Background in fitness, including athletics, sports, dance, martial arts, or gymnastics.
- Experience working with children aged 2.5 to 6, such as as a teacher, substitute teacher, or camp counselor.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
